My Story

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, into a family that struggled to make ends meet. Observing his father’s tireless work and the fragility of their circumstances, he developed an early interest in storytelling as a way to understand the world. He taught himself English, began teaching others while still in high school, and later worked in telecom before discovering his passion for filmmaking. At twenty-two, he bought his first camera and began experimenting with photography and film, learning the craft through hands-on experience rather than formal schooling. After moving to Dubai, he worked professionally as a videographer and editor, founded his own media company, and continued creating narrative films. His shorts, including Kareem(2025) and Mr. Brown(2025), have won awards and screened at international festivals, exploring themes of belonging, migration, and family. For him, storytelling is more than a profession, it is a way to connect, remember, and give meaning to life’s challenges. He currently runs a Dubai-based production company delivering commercial and narrative projects across the region.
